Jellie Park

Yesterday Room thirteen went to Jellie Park. We went on the boiling bus. It rumbled and tumbled on the rattling bus. When we got there we went on the rocky path up the hill. Then we lined up straight and still for three minutes. Finally we went inside Jellie Park. After that we went to have lunch on the comfortable shady grass. When we had a little talk Mr McKenzie told us the rules to go to Jellie Park. Year 3, 4 and 5 couldn't wait! The people who had yellow zinc got to go anywhere around the perfect swimming pool. The red people had to stop half way. Then we all went to the pool. I played with Finn, Bradley and Ben. We stood on the deck and dived onto the clean water. When Bradley nearly drowned I helped him and held him back to the short pool. It was a fun day.
