Notes and Reminders
Buzz Groups – this week’s focus will be on animal discoveries. The children will be asked to share information about a different animal e.g. what they know about chameleons. Some advance notice that the following week’s Buzz Groups will be about dinosaur discoveries.
Aquagym – the children had a great time at Aquagym and it was pleasing to see the progress they made in a week.
Maths Homework Focus – just a reminder that the suggestions will often range in difficulty and the children should not move onto harder ones, unless the easier ones have been achieved. This week some children will be working with numbers up to 20, others up to 100 and for a few children numbers up to 1000. With number knowledge the focus should be on getting to the answer quickly, before moving onto bigger numbers.
Mathletics – This is a great online maths programme, that we would recommend joining if you are in a position to do so. Registration forms need to be sent to the school office with payment by Friday 23rd March.
