Notes and Reminders

Buzz Groups (Wednesday) – the topic for this week is Australian wildlife.

The topic for the final week of term will be free choice.

Choir Performance – the attitude and enthusiasm of the children was really pleasing to see. They followed the conductor’s instructions well and performed at an excellent level.

Invasion Games – this Thursday the year 3/4 children will be having a mini invasion games tournament. Please could you ensure that your child brings suitable clothing for sport, to change into in the afternoon.

Maths – this week we will be focussing on division. Some children will be using their knowledge of tables to solve division problems. Other children will practise sharing items into groups using materials, moving onto using imagery if ready.

Art – the children will be making a vehicle collage using recycled materials. We have talked about some things they might be able to find at home to use on their collage, such as old buttons, bottle tops, wrapping paper etc. The children will be designing their collages this week and making them the following week. Any items collected should be brought to school next Monday.
