Buzz
Groups (Wednesday) –
the topic for this week
is an Olympic Athlete.
Next
week’s topic will be sharing international news. The children will be asked to
share some recent news from overseas. They will also be encouraged to bring in
a newspaper clipping or printout from the internet, including a picture of the
event.
Maths – this week is a maths focus
week. Every morning there will be a problem on the whiteboard for the children
to solve. House points will be given to those children who can work out the
correct answer and explain how they worked it out. A link to the maths week
website has been put on the class blog. There are some great activities and
daily challenges for the children to use. The children have all been given their
own username and password so that they can access the website at home.
