Notes and Reminders

Buzz Groups (Wednesday) – the topic for this week and next week is national news. The children will be asked to share some recent news from NZ. They are encouraged to bring in a newspaper clipping or printout from the internet, including a picture of the event.

Maths – the children have all been given a basic facts sheet, based on the results from last week’s assessment. The children will be assessed again, on a sheet similar to the one they have been given, in Week 10.

Spelling – the focus for the next two weeks is on using apostrophes correctly.

New Books – please could you supply your child with a new project/scrap book and a new writing book (1i5) if you haven’t already done so. Thank you.
