Chefs at Work

Room 13 children had lots of fun getting ready for our magnificent sweet stall for the school fair.  All the children had a cooking experience with a chef.  We made and decorated gingerbread men and they looked quite amazing - almost too good to eat!  As well we concocted a variety of other goodies like coconut ice and fudge.

The tall chef's hats balanced beautifully on our heads and helped us to work in our new cooking roles.   Later, the day before the fair, we had to bag up all our sweets and decide on prices for everything.

Our sweet stall was overflowing with goodies for sale on the monster fair day and it wasn't long before everything was sold out!   Thanks to the parents and Chef Kristen who helped us get ready for the big day.
