Notes and Reminders

Buzz Groups (Wednesday) – the topic for this week is space. Next week’s topic will be African Animals – the big five (Elephant, Rhinoceros, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo).

Beach Education – please could we have permission slips back ASAP. We still require another 4 parents to assist with the trip. If you are able to help could you please pop in and let either of us know or alternatively send a note in with your child. Thank you.

Inquiry – we have now moved onto a final topic of the school year, looking at East Africa. We will compare and contrast our lives in New Zealand with life in Africa and consider what fundraising can do to help a school in Tanzania.

Tennis – the children really enjoyed the two tennis sessions last week. Some photos have been added to the class blog.

Lateness – recently there have been a number of children arriving 5 – 10 minutes late. Please remember that the school day starts at 8:55 and children need to be here prior to this time so that they are organised for the start of the school day.
